The Pleasure of Stopping ~ A Simple, Daily Way to Tend to Our Mental Heath.
In this video I feel inspired to intimately share with you a way I have been tending to my own *mental health* in these wild times of personal and global uncertainty.
This video is perhaps especially for those of us who can feel so overwhelmed by our daily responsibilities and roles, we might feel that stopping to meditate is a luxury that we can’t afford to take.
Honestly my loves, (and this might sound a little pathetic to the youngsters amongst us ;-)) the sweetest pleasure of my life these days are the moments I take to be still, to consciously lay it all down, even if just for a moment, and drink deeply of what’s here.
And so in this video I invite you to stop with me!
When we stop all our habituated tendencies of thinking and identification, even if just for a few minutes, we have a chance to retreat from collective anxiety and global chaos in a way that allows us to retrieve coherence, peace and clarity. What pleasure, and how useful it can be, to find peace and sanity right here where we are!
